Hello Crafters
Today I'd like to use some of the elements from the stunning Pansy Petals Suite (155810).
This card only has a small amount of stamping, I've utilised the DSP to create my flowers. The Dies fit perfectly to cut out the flowers on some sheets of the paper. Its great!! especially if you're a bit like me and don't always have a lot of time for two or three step stamping. Personally, I love it all, but being able to die cut straight from the DSP does make the card come together faster and is still just as beautiful.
Anyway, lets get started with the fun stuff.
You will need:
White Card Base 8 1/4" x 5 7/8" scored and folded at 4 1/8" portrait orientation.
Purple Posy Matte 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" (Purple Posy has now retired but any Matting layer will be fine, just choose from the list of coordinating colours shown on the DSP package).
White layer 5 3/8" x 3 5/8" emboss with Bricks & Mortar folder
Pansy Patch Stamp and Die bundle
Pansy Petals DSP
Purple Posy scrap for sentiment label
White scrap for smaller sentiment label
Stitched So Sweetly Dies (or similar label dies) 3rd and 4th (smallest to largest)

Evening Evergreen Scrap for leaves.

Pretty Gems to decorate.

- Die cut Purple Posy and White sentiment labels
- Emboss White layer
- Adhere PP card onto White card base
- Stamp Happy Birthday in EE ink onto white label
- Adhere white label to the PP one, then glue both onto PP matte.
- Dry fit where you want to place your Pansies
- When happy with your layout, glue one Pansy flat to the card, add dimensionals to back of two Pansies
- Adhere EE leaves and stems below the first Pansy, remove dimensional backings and add other Pansies. I shaped my flowers before attaching to give more dimension.
- Add your chosen gems.
- If you wish, decorate the inside. I chose to leave the inside blank so I can personalise it when I know who i'm giving it to.
