Ahoy There, Birthday Card
Hi Crafters
Today I've been playing with the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack, Sailing Home Stamp Set and Smooth Sailing Dies. Sadly the card pack is no longer available but the Stamps and Dies have carried over to Stampin' Ups new 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalogue so you could embellish your card with those and achieve a similar effect.
CARD RECIPIE
Whisper White Thick Card Base 8 1/4" x 5 7/8" scored and folded @ 4 1/8" down the long side.
Everything Is Rosy DSP layer 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Light House Stamp and co-ordinating Die
Small Sail Boat Stamp.
Night of Navy Ink Pad
Happy Birthday Stamp (from another stamp set)
Ahoy There Memories and More Card Layer
Compass Sticker
Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine approx 7"
Sail Away Trinket
Adhesive
Glue Dots
This card is very quick and easy to make-
Place a small amount of tape to the back of the DSP layer approx 1/4" from left side
Thread your twine through the Trinket, stick one end of the twine to top and the other end to bottom ensuring the Twine is in a straight line.
Attach the Trinket to your card with a glue dot.
Adhere the DSP layer to the centre of the WW card base leaving a 1/8" white border around card.
Using your chosen sentiment, stamp to Ahoy There Card layer in Night of Navy Ink.
Stamp the small Sail Boat in NofN Ink to left side.
Adhere Ahoy There card towards top left of DSP.
Stamp the lighthouse in NofN ink and die cut
Place the light house to bottom right of Card using dimensionals.
Inside Card.
I decorated the inside with a M&M Card Pack Sticker in centre and stamped the small sail boat in NofN ink to bottom right.
Envelope
Remember to decorate your envelope as well.
