Painted Poppies Thank You Card

Painted Poppies - Thank You Card



Instructions:

  1. Cut Whisper White card stock to 8 1/4"  x 5 7/8" 
  2. Score the card down the middle at 4 1/8" 
  3. Fold down the score line and burnish with a bone folder to get a nice crisp edge.
  4. Cut a piece of Poppy Parade card at 3" x 1", another at 4.5" x 3", another at 2 1/4" x 4 1/4"
  5. Cut two pieces of Whisper White at 1.5" x 3 1/4" and 3.5" x 2.5".
  6. Centre the front ofthe card onto the Stone Embossing Folder lining the fold line up with the edge of the folder.  Put through Die cutting machine.
  7. Taking the Whisper White 3.5" x 2.5" stamp the poppy flower onto the centre of the card using 
  8. Momento Black Ink, stamp the small blotch stamp over the flower head with Poppy Parade ink and colour the Bud also.  Then colour the stem and leaf with Mossy Meadow Ink.  Then using the Thank You sentiment stamp in black ink on bottom centre of the Poppy image card piece.
  9. Take the 1.5" x 3 1/4" White card and using Momento Black Ink stamp the You Shouldn't Have... sentiment in the centre.
  10. Place the 4th Stitched So Sweetly Die ( counting smallest to largest) centrally to frame the poppy image, run through Die Cutting machine to cut out white scallop rectangle
  11. Repeat on Poppy Parade Card 4.5" x 3" with the 5th Die.
  12. Adhere the Poppy DSP onto the Poppy Parade 2 1/4" x 4 1/4" card, ensuring the DSP is reaching full length of the card and has an equal border top and bottom of PP card stock showing.
  13. Adhere this Panel onto the embossed card front.
  14. Adhere the Flower image layer onto the Scalloped PP Card, leaving even border all around
  15. Position Dimensionals on back and stick onto lower left side card front.
  16. Repeat steps 13 and 14 for stitched rectangle pieces, place in position at top right of card.
  17. Add Poppy Sequins as desired.
  18. Stamp the same poppy flower on inside of card, bottom right corner colour as step 7
  19. Repeat step 17 to decorate envelope.
That is your card finished!!
